Twix-Inspired Slice (Low Carb & Vegan Friendly!) 🥜

Ingredients (makes 8 bars):

👉 Tip: Sub in regular salted caramel whey protein and regular milk for non-plant based version! 

Instructions:

  1. For the base layer, mix the almond meal, 1 scoop protein powder, 2 tbs coconut oil, and 2-3 tbs syrup. Mix and press into a lined slice tin. Chill in fridge!

  2. For the caramel filling, pop the peanut butter, remaining syrup, almond milk and vanilla into a small sauce pan over medium-low heat for a couple minutes. Stir constantly until smooth and thickened slightly. Remove from heat and whisk in protein powder until smooth. Pour over base and freeze for 1 hour. 

  3. For the top layer, melt chocolate mix and 1 tsp coconut oil together in a glass dish over boiling water. Pour over the chilled middle layer and smooth evenly. Sprinkle with rock salt and pop in the fridge for another hour. Cut with a hot knife to avoid splitting the chocolate! Enjoy!
