Choc-Berry Protein Bliss Balls

Choc-Berry Protein Bliss Balls

These tasty little morsels will curb that afternoon sweet craving or are perfect as a treat after dinner! Keep them refrigerated for up to 5 days - if they last that long!

Makes 8-10 balls

Ingredients:

10 dates, pitted
3/4 cup almond meal
1 scoop of Clean Nutrition Chocolate or Strawberry Whey Protein Powder
1 tsp cacao powder
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1-2 tbsp water, if needed
Crushed freeze-dried raspberries, to garnish

Method:

1. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Pop the dates in hot water to soften for 10-15 minutes.
3. In a food processor, add the softened dates and almond meal and blend until well combined. Add the protein powder, cacao powder and coconut oil and blend again until a dough begins to form. If the mixture feels a bit dry, add some water. The mixture should feel a little sticky but still dough-like.
3. Using your hands, roll tablespoonfuls of the mixture into snack sized balls. Roll the balls in the crushed freeze-dried raspberries to coat.
4. Place them on the prepared tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
5. Serve straight from the fridge or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Enjoy!
